VineWealth collects information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, household and profile information, and financial data you choose to sync through Plaid, such as balances, account metadata, and transactions. We may also collect operational and usage information needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
We use your information to operate the VineWealth budgeting service, display your financial data, generate household and budgeting insights, support shared access with invited household members, authenticate users, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal or financial data.
When you connect a bank account, we use Plaid Inc. to securely access data from your financial institution. Plaid's use of your information is governed by their End User Privacy Policy. We receive account and transaction data from Plaid as needed to provide the service, but we do not receive your bank login credentials.
We use managed cloud infrastructure and database services to store application data. Connections to our services use TLS in transit, and stored data is protected using platform-level encryption at rest. We use server-side access controls, row-level security, and authenticated APIs to limit access to your data.
Your financial data is shared only with members of your household that you invite into shared budgeting workflows. We do not share or sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. We do use service providers such as Plaid, Supabase, Vercel, and other vendors as needed to host, authenticate, sync, and operate the service.
We retain customer data for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain security, and meet legal or contractual obligations. You may request deletion by deleting your account through the app. Data is removed from active systems within a reasonable operational timeframe, while backups may expire according to provider-managed retention schedules.
